Lawrence Gitau was born 1984 in Kiambu District in Kenya. He is the first born of 4 children. He joined Kamahindu primary school in 1990. Caused during birth time Mr. Gitau has difficulties to concentrate. But he is firmly convinced that painting can heal, strengthen, comfort, encourage and he puts his dreams on the canvas to express his feelings. Oftenly the starting-points of these paintings are portraits, which he then abstracts artistically.
