Mr. Richard Wasike is a native Ugandan artist mainly living in Nairobi the capital city of Kenya or in Western Kenya. He was born in Rift Valley in 1963. His father, a fine art teacher, perceived early the talent of young Richard and encouraged him in painting African landscapes. After completing his high school education in Uganda, Mr. Richard Wasike came to Nairobi city to start freelancing in Fine Art. Mr. Wasike is well known for his beautiful landscapes and paintings of African people in water color or acrylics and the combination of both techniques.
